Chase-ing Dreams
Story
Chase has a condition called Pierre Robin Sequence.
He was admitted into the Neonatal Intensive Care Ward (Butterfly) at the Royal Children's Hospital at 4 days old in 2013. For 30 days including his first Christmas and New Years Chase was looked after by an amazing team of doctors, specialists, nurses, medical staff and volunteers. He required intervention for an upper airway obstruction, feeding issues and fought meningitis
In 2015 he had surgery to repair his cleft palate and grommets replaced his bone conductor hearing aid.
He currently sees several of the specialist departments at RCH and will remain under their care well into his teens.
It is, and always has been a very important goal of ours to try and raise some funds for the hospital.
We want to feel like we are giving back and saying thanks for everything they have done for Chase and our family.
To achieve this we have set up this page and our team in this years Run For The Kids- Chase-ing Dreams.
All money raised goes to directly to The Royal Children's Hospital Good Friday Appeal
We would like to take the opportunity to thank everyone for the enormous amount of support they have given us.
Chase still has a little way to go and we are so lucky to be surrounded by such amazing people.

Royal Children's Hospital Good Friday Appeal Ltd
The Royal Children's Hospital Good Friday Appeal (Good Friday Appeal) brings together people from all parts of the community to raise money for the benefit of The Royal Children's Hospital in Melbourne. Funds raised support research, state-of-the-art equipment, education and training, and family centred care programs.
